Rug Samples

Choosing the perfect rug for your home can be a challenge, but we’re here to help! With our sample service, you can order small pieces of your favorite rugs to see and feel the colors, materials, and textures in your own space. This way, you can ensure the rug complements your décor perfectly before making a final decision.

Samples are available for direct order from our online store. Alternatively, you can borrow them for free from Finarte Concept Store in Helsinki, with a return required within one week.

What are samples?

Samples are small pieces of rugs that help you get a feel for the material, texture, and color before committing to a full-size purchase. We offer samples for most of our wool rugs as well as the Dyyni rug made from recycled cotton.

Please note that a sample is not a miniature version of the rug, so it may not reflect the actual pattern or full design. However, the material, technique, overall feel, and colors are the same as in the actual rugs.

Samples give you the chance to see how the colors look in your own lighting and how the texture feels under your fingers — helping you make a more confident decision.

How to get a sample?

From our online shop, you can order a sample from the product page of each rug, if a sample is available. Simply click on the ‘Order a sample’ button, and the sample will be added to your shopping cart. You can order up to 4 samples per order.

From Finarte Concept Store, you can also borrow samples to take home free of charge, with a return required within one week.

How much samples costs?

Samples cost 8€ each. Shipping within Finland is free, while shipping to Europe costs 10€ plus the destination country’s VAT. If your order includes other products in addition to the samples, the shipping cost will be based on the shipping for the other items.

For all sample orders made online, you will receive a discount code along with the samples to compensate for their cost — this code is valid if your final rug order exceeds 200€.

Borrowing samples from the Finarte Concept Store is free of charge.

Below you’ll find a list of our rug designs that have sample pieces available. If a sample cannot be ordered directly from the product page, it is unfortunately not available for home delivery at the moment — but it can still be borrowed from the Finarte Concept Store. You can inquire about the availability of a sample for loan directly from our customer service.
