Akaatti (Agate) is a hand-tufted wool rug designed by Juslin Maunula. The hand-cut plisé-like texture creates a wavy surface for the graphic rug. Akaatti has a soft beige middle with light blue around it on the edges. A bright orange-lilac stripe in the middle of the rug works as an accent bringing a surprising element to an otherwise peacefully colored rug. Akaatti got its inspiration for composing color areas and shapes from the work of color theorist Josef Albers and the design language of Architect Carlo Scarpa. The base of the rug is made of cotton, which makes the rug sturdy.

Shipping in Finland 8,90€, with free delivery for orders above 100€. Shipping in the EU 30€. For orders outside the EU, please contact our customer service.
