The soft and cozy Tie rug designed by Saana ja Olli is a combination of the rya technique and the traditional Finnish cotton flat weave carpet. The beautiful shades of off-white and grey and the ecologically recycled cotton weave make Tie a timeless choice for a modern home. Tie Rug can also be used as a wall textile.

Please note that this Tie rug is sold as a preloved product. The cotton used in this rug is a slightly different shade than intended, which makes the coloring more striped than in the standard design, and the rug also has a few yarns that have been left unusually long.

For preloved products, any potential defects have already been factored into the price, and the product is not eligible for exchange or complaints regarding these issues.

Shipping & Returns

Estimated delivery for products in stock is 3–5 business days within Finland and 5–14 business days for international orders.

Free standard shipping on all orders in the EU in October 2026.

Shipping in Finland to pick up point is 8,90€, with free delivery for orders over 100€ and 30€ for home delivery. Shipping within the EU (including Switzerland and Norway) is 30€. Shipping to the United States and Canada is 149€. For orders to other countries outside the EU, please contact our customer service.

Duties and taxes are included for orders within the EU. For orders outside the EU, customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees that may apply upon arrival in the destination country. These costs are not included in the checkout total.

Returns are 15€ within Finland and 30€ within Europe. For returns from the United States and Canada, customers are responsible for the return shipping costs to our return address in California. Read our return policy.

Sustainability

Our rugs and accessories are handcrafted in India from recycled fibres, natural fibres such as wool and jute, and cellulose-based fibres such as viscose and tencel. Our family business has worked with local artisans for over 35 years, creating employment and helping preserve traditional craftsmanship skills.

All cotton used in Finarte rugs is either recycled or upcycled.
