The Heritage Collection is closely connected to the story of Finarte and its founder, textile designer Eija Rasinmäki.

These pieces reflect the same spirit that shaped the early rag rugs of the brand – a deep respect for material, craftsmanship and tradition, reinterpreted through time.

One of a kind

Each piece in the Heritage Collection is unique. Rather than being reproduced, every rug and wall hanging exists as a single work, making each piece truly individual.

This gives the collection a more personal and collectible character, where no two pieces are the same.

Traditional weaving, preserved

All Heritage rugs are handmade in Oitti, Finland, using traditional Finnish weaving techniques.

By working in collaboration with Kutomo Rasinmäki, the collection helps preserve and continue these techniques, while bringing them into a contemporary context.

Designed to be kept

The Heritage Collection is created with longevity in mind. These are not only functional pieces, but textiles intended to be lived with, kept and passed on over time.
