A place where you can find handwoven Finnish design rugs and home accessories. Read the story of Finarte Concept Store.
Last November we had to say goodbye to our multibrand Shop+Showroom with Hakola and Lumokids that was located in the old shipyard in Telakkaranta, Helsinki. When the whole area went under construction we had to leave.
That’s when our journey to find a place for Finarte in the heart of Helsinki started. We kept looking at places until the late spring arrived – finally there was a sympathetic place just a stone’s throw away from the city centre. The place sparkled with right energy. We knew that we had found the right place for Finarte.
In June we opened the doors of the first Finarte Concept Store. We’re now located at Uudenmaankatu 27.
Finarte Concept Store is our first walk-in store, that reflects our Nordic Roots, Global Spirit -theme and concept mind-set.
Store was designed in collaboration with the talented designer Marianne Huotari from STUDIO smoo. The colours and the atmosphere at the Store weaves together both souveniers from all over the world and the Nordic aesthetics – themes, that recur in Finarte rugs and home accessories.
At our Store you will find trending jute rugs, Nordic bohemian wool rugs and of course our traditional rag rugs.
The new arrivals of the autumn can always be spotted first at our Concept Store, where lucky ones get to know them among the firsts. It’s also effortless to pick-up webstore orders from our Finarte Concept Store.
As we’re proud to carry our history and roots with us, there’s a limited selection of unique wall rugs and art rag rugs made by Kutomo Rasinmäki at the Store.
This autumn we take our customers for a travel to Finarte’s world, as our Store turns into a Nordic Boudoir during Helsinki Design Week. Nordic Boudoir – Finarte’s Room of Global Spirit is a part of Helsinki Design Week’s official program.
Finarte Concept Store is located at Uudenmaankatu 27, Helsinki. We’re open from Wednesday to Friday 11-18, on Saturdays 11-15.
Let’s meet at our Store, welcome!
