Kuhmo is a traditionally vibrant rag rug that combines the rich colors of India with the heritage of Finnish rag rug tradition. The rosepath weaving technique is traditionally used, making the rug reversible and usable on both sides. Kuhmo is handcrafted in India using surplus materials from the textile industry: it is created from colorful offcuts of sari garments and other upcycled textiles, making Kuhmo an eco-friendly choice. The base color of the rug is gray. Please note that the details of the stripes and colors may vary due to the surplus materials used in each batch, making every handwoven Kuhmo rug a unique piece. However, the overall look of the rug is always vibrant and colorful.
