Terms and Conditions
The terms and conditions listed below will apply between customer and Finarte online store for the sale and purchase of the products contained in customers shopping cart. We reserve the right, at any time, to modify, alter or update these terms and conditions, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, changes, or updates on subsequent visits.
These terms and conditions of sale are valid as of November 13th 2023, until further notice.
ORDERS
You can purchase Finarte products with the shopping bag feature online. You will receive an Order Confirmation by email after placing your order, and a Shipping Confirmation once your order has been sent. Finarte does not guarantee that all items included in the online store are in stock at the time of your order. In the event that an item is unavailable, we will contact you shortly by e-mail. Your order will be processed and shipped within 3-5 working days. Please note that during sale season the delivery guidelines might not apply.
If you are unsure whether your transaction has been successful or you do not receive an Order Confirmation, please contact us via email or phone.
SHIPPING AND POLICY
We ship to all countries. Orders within the EU, Switzerland, Norway, the United States, and Canada can be made directly from our online store. For other countries outside the EU, please contact us via email.
Orders are processed within 1–2 days and delivered by mail worldwide from Kotka, Finland. Estimated delivery time is 3–5 business days within Finland and 5–14 business days for international orders. We reserve the right for any delays.
Prices are in euros and include tax (VAT) for orders placed within the EU. Orders placed outside the EU do not include VAT. Shipping fees will be added automatically to all orders.
Shipping fee depends on your location:
Finland 8,90€ (delivery to DB Schenker pick-up point), 30€ for Posti home delivery
EU (including Switzerland and Norway) 30€
United States and Canada 149€
Valid only in Finland: free shipping for orders above 100 euros.
The delivery cost for custom-sized products is calculated individually for each order and will be shown at checkout. In Finland, delivery by sea freight is free of charge, while faster air freight is subject to an additional fee.
Duties and taxes are included for orders within the EU. For orders outside the EU, customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees that may apply upon arrival in the destination country. These costs are not included in the checkout total.
Finarte (India) Oy reserves the right to change prices.
If the order contains products on backorder, the order will be delivered as one shipment once the product on backorder has arrived in stock. If you would like your order to be delivered in multiple shipments, please email us at store@finarte.fi.
PAYMENT TERMS
All orders are paid during check out. We accept payments via Paypal, Paytrail and Klarna.
Through Paypal, you can pay with the following credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, Master Card or through your personal Paypal account.
You can choose to pay using Klarna. Klarna will provide you with specific payment terms. For further information or questions regarding your payment please visit Klarna’s website.
RETURNS
We hope you are happy with your Finarte purchase. If, for any reason whatsoever, you are not satisfied with your order, you can return purchased items within fourteen (14) days from the date you receive them.
The returned products must be returned complete and unused in their original packaging, with original labels intact.
Prices for return:
Finland: 15€
Europe: 30€
United States and Canada: customers are responsible for the return shipping costs. Returns must be sent at the customer’s own expense to our return address in California.
Please note that the original shipping costs are not refundable.
For returns in Finland, return your purchase to your nearest DB Schenker drop off point (same as a pick up point). Insert a filled return form to your package and return the purchase in its packaging with the original shipping labels intact. If you do not have the original packaging, write your original tracking number (found in your tracking email or SMS) and the return address below on the package when you drop the parcel to a drop off point.
After we have received the returned products and checked that the products meet all requirements, we will refund the full price of the purchase excluding the 15€ return fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Please note that you are responsible for the product until it reaches us.

If your order was delivered with Posti’s home delivery service, you will need to contact our customer service to arrange the return.
For returns outside Finland, contact our customer service.
Unclaimed shipments
If the order returns to us as an undelivered package, we can charge the shipping and return costs from the payment.
Custom made rugs
Custom made rugs cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or returned after 24 hours from placing the order.
DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
In case you have received a wrong or faulty item, please contact our customer support at store@finarte.fi
GENERAL
Finarte reserves the right to cancel any order or limit the sales of our products if Finarte in its sole discretion suspects that these Terms and Conditions are not obeyed. Finarte may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis.
We cannot guarantee that the colours appearing on the webshop in detail reflect the items colours in reality. The colours can be reflected in different ways depending on your screen and computer settings and may look different in home settings.
We recommend to always purchase products from our website, retail stores or through one of our retail partners, which are listed on our Retailers page.
