Baisa is a unique design art wall hanging, handcrafted by Kutomo Rasinmäki. It is part of The Heritage Collection – a collaboration between Finarte and Kutomo Rasinmäki.

Wall hangings are an essential part of Finland’s textile art heritage. Baisa brings a fresh and modern interpretation to this tradition with its lively colors and bold composition. Designed in 1987, Baisa remains current and vibrant – a timelessly modern piece of art. The inspiration behind Baisa lies in the elements of joy and courage. The piece combines shades of violet, yellow, and grey with red, turquoise, black, and white – creating an expression that is both vivid, powerful, and harmonious.

All pieces in the collection are designed by Eija Rasinmäki, co-founder of Finarte, and each is a one-of-a-kind art textile. Every work is handmade in Oitti, Finland, using traditional Finnish weaving methods, recycled, and natural materials.

Baisa measures 140 × 100 cm and is made from cotton and linen.

Estimated delivery for products in stock is 3–5 business days within Finland and 5–14 business days for international orders.

Shipping in Finland to pick up point is 8,90€, with free delivery for orders over 100€ and 30€ for home delivery. Shipping within the EU (including Switzerland and Norway) is 30€. Shipping to the United States and Canada is 149€. For orders to other countries outside the EU, please contact our customer service.

Duties and taxes are included for orders within the EU. For orders outside the EU, customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees that may apply upon arrival in the destination country. These costs are not included in the checkout total.

Returns are 15€ within Finland and 30€ within Europe. For returns from the United States and Canada, customers are responsible for the return shipping costs to our return address in California. Read our return policy.
